CANDLE CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
The following tips are recommended for burning your new candle:
Always ensure your sculptural candles are not exposed to long periods of sunlight as this will cause discoloration of your candle. The fragrance inside will yellow over time if not stored in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
Before lighting your sculptural candle, place it on a dish or candle plate so any wax that may drip will be collected and not spill onto anything.
Never burn a candle on or near anything that may catch fire. Ensure your candle is kept out of reach by children and pets at all times.
Never leave a burning candle unattended while sleeping or not at home. If you are going to leave the room or go to bed, be sure to extinguish all flames first.
You can opt to use a candle snuffer to extinguish your flame if available, as this is the safest way to prevent hot wax from spilling over your candle.
Don’t burn your candle all the way down to the bottom. For safety purposes, stop burning a candle when there is ¼ inch of wax remaining.
Ongoing Use:
When not in use, ensure your candle is not placed in direct sunlight or nearby heat sources as this may cause discoloration of your candle.
Trim the wick 1-2cm from the surface of the wax before your next light, to ensure a consistent smoke-free flame.
We recommend that you burn your candle for no more than 2 hours at a time, where appropriate.
Jar candles should be burning until the entire top layer of wax is liquid, to ensure no tunneling of your candle and to ensure a consistent smooth level burn once the wax re-hardens.
Remember to monitor your candle at all times and never leave a burning flame unattended.
